Bandipora, August 10: Bandipora Police have arrested two accused persons within 12 hours in connection with a case involving a 12-year-old girl, officials said.
Police received information about the alleged incident around 12 noon on Sunday, following which an investigation was immediately launched.
During the investigation, police identified and arrested two persons who were reportedly not known to the victim.
A senior police officer said the two accused were apprehended during overnight raids conducted as part of the investigation.
Police have registered an FIR under relevant sections in connection with the case.
Further investigation is currently underway, the officer said.
