JAMMU, MAY 30: In a move aimed at strengthening healthcare services and ensuring efficient deployment of medical professionals, the Directorate of Health Services Jammu (DHSJ) has issued an order for the adjustment and posting of 11 doctors who were awaiting placement. The order, numbered 300-G of 2025 and dated May 30, 2025, was released by the DHSJ headquarters located near MLA Hostel, Indira Chowk, Jammu.
As per the order, the medical officers have been posted at various Primary Health Centres (PHCs), Community Health Centres (CHCs), Sub-District Hospitals (SDHs), District Hospitals (DHs), and other government health institutions across Jammu division. This administrative step has been taken in the interest of improving patient care and addressing the shortage of medical staff in specific health facilities.
Among the doctors adjusted are specialists in ENT, Pediatrics, Medicine, Psychiatry, Orthopedics, and Neurology. Their postings span key locations such as PHC Jaganoo, PHC Dansal, CHC Jourian, DH Poonch, SDH Akhnoor, Government Hospital Sarwal in Jammu, Emergency Hospital Banihal, DH Samba, DH Ramban, Indian Red Cross Society Jammu, and SDH Jagti in Nagrota.
The Directorate has directed all concerned doctors to report to their respective places of posting with immediate effect to ensure continuity and enhancement of healthcare services. This reshuffle is seen as part of the government’s broader commitment to improve healthcare accessibility and optimize human resources in the health sector across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
