MAY 7: In the course of Operation Sindoor launched to avenge the Pahalgam carnage which claimed 26 lives, the Indian Air Force strikes back and targeted the Bahawalpur home of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Maulana Masood Azhar.
Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Maulana Masood Azhar claims that 10 members of his family and four aids were killed in Operation Sindoor launched by Indian Army.
It is learnt that those killed in Indian strikes include Azhar’s elder sister and her husband, his nephew and his wife, another niece and five children of his family. Besides, a close aide of Azhar and his mother, and two other close aide were also killed.
Additionally, the Indian strikes during the Operation Sindoor killed as many as 30 terrorists each in Bahawalpur and Muridke. Besides, the number of terrorists killed at other locations are between 70 and 80.
