Court rejects bail in Gang Rape case

JAMMU: Principal Sessions Judge Reasi Kamlesh Pandita rejected the bail applications of two accused--Kuldeep and Rinku who are allegedly involved in Gang Rape case.

The two are accused of abducting a woman raping her, along with another absconding accused Sonu.

“The offences alleged to have been committed by the accused persons are heinous and also against the society at large. It leaves a festering wound on the soul of the victim that gives a sharp pain at unknown turns. It is a mutilation that triggers the most visceral disgust of the self at most unsuspecting hours. In fact, rape is a seed of trauma that shall unfold in victim's mind for rest of her life. Rape permanently alters a person's existence,” the court observed and rejected the bail applications.
