Vivek Kumar appointed as Pvt Secy to PM

NEW DELHI: Vivek Kumar, presently working as Director in the Prime Minister’s Office, was on Friday appointed as Private Secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
'The Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Mr Vivek Kumar, IFS officer of 2004 batch presently working as Director in the Prime Minister’s Office as Private Secretary to the Prime Minister with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, on co-terminus basis or until further orders, whichever is earlier,' an official statement said.
The ACC also approved seven senior level appointments of IAS officers.
