Youth held with grenade during Army's recruitment rally in Poonch
Jammu, Mar 11: A youth was arrested with hand grenade during Army's recruitment rally in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
"One person who had come to attend recruitment rally in Surankote organised by TA, namely Rajinder Singh, 33, resident of village Dhalyote, Tehsil Kalakot, District Rajouri was apprehended near army town gate Surankote," a senior police officer said.
He added that during the search, one C- 90 grenade, UBGL grenade and detonators were recovered from his possession.
"A case has been registered under relevant sections of the law and questioning is on," he concluded.
