Female drug peddler held with heroin & narcotics

Moga, Feb 9 : The Dharamkot police of Moga district arrested one woman drug peddler, a resident of Noorpur Hakiman village while she was on way to provide heroin to school children nearby.

According to a police statement, the woman drug peddler was arrested with 4-gram heroin while the
district police launched a special drive against the drugs to be provided to the student community by deploying police force near educational institutions.

Beside this district police also arrested two peddlers and recovered from them 150 narcotic tablets.
The drug peddlers arrested have been identified as Mohamad Ali of Moga and Sarban Singh, residents of Chanuwala of Baghapurana subdivision.
