NDMC Budget: Medical facility to be provided at 2 hospitals under Ayushman Bharat

New Delhi, Jan 15 (UNI) The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) in it's budget 2019-20 has proposed to provide medical and surgical treatment facility at Charak Palika Hospital and Palika Maternity Hospital under Ayushman Bharat.
Addressing mediapersons after presenting the budget of the Council here, on Tuesday, NDMC Chairperson Naresh Kumar said,'the NDMC had proposed to ink a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to get associated with world largest healthcare insurance scheme Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna (PMJAY) in the year 2019-20.'
'To provide families, having Ayushman Bharat Card, medical and surgical treatment facilities at the Charak Palika Hospital and Palika Maternity Hospital,' he said.
The NDMC has also proposed to install automated health screening with integrated devices with checkup option of over 40 health parameters by Health ATMs at Charak Palika Hospital, Dharam Marg Polyclinic, Palika Maternity Hospital and TB Polyclinic in the year 2019-20.
'Considering the problem of increasing air pollution, especially in high vehicular movement areas, it is proposed to procure four Mist Spraying Cannon Machines for NDMC area,' he said.
