Omar wishes Sonia Gandhi on her birthday

Srinagar, Dec 9: National Conference (NC) Vice President Omar Abdullah on Sunday wished former Congress president and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi on her birthday.
Mr Abdullah, who is the former chief minister of J&K, wished Mrs Gandhi ‘good health and a long life in the service of the nation’.
“Here’s wishing Sonia Gandhi Ji a very happy birthday, good health & a long life in the service of the nation. Many happy returns of the day ma’am,” Mr Abdullah wrote on micro-blogging site Twitter.
Born in 1946 in Louisiana, Italy, Mrs Gandhi turned 72 on Sunday. She has been the longest-serving president of Congress for a record 19 years from 1998 until her son Rahul Gandhi took over in 2017.
