After joining as TC, Vaid goes on month-long leave

JAMMU: Dr S P Vaid, former Director General of Police (DGP), who was posted by the government as Transport Commissioner has gone on a month-long leave after joining the new post.

The former DG was removed from the top post on the midnight of September 6, and was posted as the Transport Commissioner. Director General of Prison, Dilbagh Singh was given the additional charge of the post of state police chief. Reports said that Vaid, after joining his new assignment, applied for the leave to the Home Department and proceeded accordingly.
