Set high goals for justice delivery, CJ tells lawayers

ANANTNAG: Stressing upon the lawyers and other concerned to set high goals for better and improved justice delivery system, Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir High Court, Justice Gita Mittal on Saturday called for spreading awareness among litigants and the general public regarding their legal rights and duties so as to address their problems.

She also underlined the need for delivering the justice at an earliest.
The Chief Justice was visiting the District Court Complex Anantnag today where she interacted with the Judges and Lawyers.
On the occasion, the Chief Justice said: “we, as lawyers and judges have been blessed with the power to deliver justice; therefore, we can mould the society towards the right direction.”
She stressed upon the lawyers and other concerned to set high goals for better and improved justice delivery system.
She further said that awareness among litigants and the general public regarding their legal rights and duties needs to be ensured so that their problems are addressed and justice is delivered at an earliest.
Justice Mittal assured better infrastructure development in the district court complex and all possible measures for the betterment of the judges and lawyers of the district.
