Parrikar salutes martyred soldiers

Panaji, Aug 10: Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has saluted soldiers who laid down their lives in service of the motherland.
In a tweet, the former Defence Minister said,''Salute to our brave soldiers, Maj. Kaustubh Rane, Rifleman Vikramjeet Singh, Hameer Singh & Mandeep Singh who laid down their lives in service of our motherland. Nation will forever remain indebted to their ultimate sacrifice.''
Four soldiers, including a Major, were martyred and two militants were killed in an encounter in Gurez sector of Bandipora district in North Kashmir on Tuesday last.
