Shimla, June 16: Dust storm and rain lashed parts of Himachal Pradesh for the third consecutive day on Saturday, bringing mercury down.
Dust storm and rain affected visibility, disrupting vehicular movement in the areas.
Kangra, Palampur and Dharmshala recorded 35.7 m, 29.2 mm and 21.8 mm rainfall respectively.
Una received 23.8 mm rainfall, Solan 12 mm, Mandi 11.7 mm, tourist resort Kufri 7 mm, Manali 5.8 mm, Shimla 4.6 mm, Kalpa in Kinnuar and Jubberhati in Shimla 4.4 mm respectively.
The Met office has forecast thundershower or snowfall in mid and lower hills and a few places on the higher reaches in next 24 hours.
A warning has been issued about thunderstorm, hitting mid and lower hills today and tomorrow.
