Ex. J&K Minister Sham Lal Sharma quits as VP of PCC

Jammu: A day after Choudhary Lal Singh's historic rally at Hiranagar, another Dogra political stalwart Sham Lal Sharma quits as Senior Vice president of Pradesh Congress Committee, charges party leadership with ignoring Jammu's issues.

As per reports, Sham Lal Sharma has submitted his resignation to Congress president from the post.

Sources in Congress said that in his written resignation Sharma has confirmed that the working of Congress state president GA Mir is not satisfactory as far as issues of Jammu region are confirmed. He also added that many core issues of Jammu are being ignored by the state president and so he do not want to be part of this JKPCC team anymore and submits the resignation.

He is still member of Congress and continues as a leader.
