BSF Jawan injured due to cross border Firing in Samba Sector

SAMBA: A Border Security Force (BSF) Jawan was injured on Thursday in firing by Pakistani rangers on the international border in Samba district.

The injured BSF troop has been identified as Pravin Kumar Mishra of 80 BN BSF posted in Border out post at Regal.

According to the sources, the Pakistani rangers resorted to unprovoked firing on the IB in Samba Sector during the intervening night and the Pakistani rangers fired at some dozen BSF border outposts. The BSF Jawan was injured at Regal Post he got sustained injury over left side abdomen. They immediately evacuated him and shifted to District Hospital Samba but where doctor refer him to Government Medical Hospital Jammu for treatment. On Tuesday, a BSF constable was martyred in Pakistan firing on the IB in Samba.
