Body of youth found in rented room in Srinagar
Srinagar, Apr 20: The body of a youth, a resident of south Kashmir’s Kulgam, was found under suspicious circumstances in his rented room in the summer capital, Srinagar on Friday.
A police spokesperson said a youth, Shabnam Rasool, a resident of Yaripora Kulgam, was found lying on the floor of his rented room at Gulbarg Colony in Barzulla.
The youth was immediately taken to SHMS hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
Police have registered a case and initiated investigation to ascertain the cause of the death, he added.
