Wins first prize in Int’l Abacus Competition

JAMMU: Arjunveer Singh, a student of class 2nd from The First Step School stood first in an International level Abacus Competition.
Thousands of kids from different parts of the world participated in this online competition.
The other candidate who brought laurels to the State was Guhika Sachdev.
For this they were given certificate of excellence and trophy during prize distribution function held at Shemrock School Trikuta Nagar in Jammu.
The function was organised by Max Mind Abacus Academy Trikuta Nagar, during which a team of officials felicitated International winners with trophies and medals in Online Abacus Competition held in December, 2017.
The center received the highest number of prizes in north India. Center bagged four Gold Medals, two Silver Medals and two Bronze Medals.
Winners at Centre level are Krishika Gupta, Synaa, Mahiraah, Eva Mahajan, Advitya Jandial, Vaibhav Gandotra, Ritvik and Mohd Fahim Khan.
The winners calculated 200 sums at miraculous speed to be selected among 23000 students all over India winners of handwriting competition were also facilitated with medals and certificates, which was held on National Handwriting Day.
Winners of handwriting competition were Dhruv Mahajan, Jaanvika Narchal, Dhanya Mangotra, Krishika Gupta and Adivitya Jandial.
Twinkle Agarwal, Centre Head, was all praise for victorious students.
