Raj Thackeray meets Sharad Pawar

Mumbai, Mar 17 : Maharashtra Navnirman Sena(MNS) President Raj Thackeray on Saturday called on former Union Agriculture Minister and NCP supremo Sharad Pawar at Pedar road here, party sources said.

When asked about the visit, MNS sources said that no political discussion took place, as it was a courtesy call.

Sources said that Thackeray met Pawar after a long time. The meeting lasted for half an hour but details of the meeting is not yet known.

The interview conducted by Thackeray comes close on the heels of the February 21 at a function in Pune organised by the Jagtik Marathi Academy.
