2 dead, 3 injured as crackers explode

Kolkata, Mar : Two persons died and three were injured when the firecrackers they were making exploded at Dhonpotan in South 24 Parganas district today.
Police said around eight people were making the firecrackers at Dhonpotan under Mograhaat police station area for a Kali Puja in a temple when the incident occurred.
The victims have been identified as Mriganka Naskar and Srimanta Midde.
The injured have been rushed to hospital.
Police have begun an investigation.
