Fake liquor manufacturing facility busted in Chatra

Chatra, Mar 16 : In a joint operation by the excise departments sleuths of Chatra and
Hazaribagh districts, a mini fake liquor manufacturing facility was today busted in Itkhori in this district.
Officials of the excise department said acting on secret tip off a raid was conducted at
the house of one Badri Bhuyaan in Raja Kendua village under Itkhori Police Station area
in this district during which 30,000 pouches of country made liquor was seized while from
the near by forest five gallons of spirit, rapper and other equipments in liquor manufacturing was seized.
However all the people involved in this illegal trade managed to flee from the spot. The
cost of the seized country made liquor is estimated to be around Rs 10 lakh.
