ARMY organises a Volleyball match at Malar Region, Kishtwar District
Jammu, Feb 24 : Kishtwar Continuing the effort of nurturing sporting talent of Kishtwari youth and encouraging the young minds of the district to participate in constructive activities, Indian Army organised a friendly volleyball match at Malar, Kishtwar.
The match commenced with singing of National Anthem at Malar region, a total of two teams participated in the competition. The youth turned out in large numbers to cheer the teams. The finals were played between Horna & Lotna team and Malar team. The match was won by Malar team.
The participants and spectators lauded the initiatives and expressed hope that such initiatives by Army will give a fillip and also interactions will aid in developing healthy competitive spirit amongst the youth of the area.
