Dengue claims police constable life

Puducherry, Feb 20 : A police constable attached to the Villianur police station died of Dengue fever early on Tuesday.

According to sources, Saravanan (29) a law and order constable hailing from Lingareddippalayam near here was suffering from fever for the last four months. After diagnosing that he is suffering from Dengue, he had taken treatment at the Puducherry Government hospital, private medical college here and in a hospital in Bangalore.

However, the end came at Jipmer hospital here.
