BJP leader eulogizes Dy CM’s reaction to Omar’s comment

Rajesh Gupta, senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party, J&K, has hailed the bold reaction of Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh to the statement of Omar Abdullah, Working President, National Conference, in which he snubbed the former Chief Minister of the State.

In his quick reaction, Deputy Chief Minister had said that it doesn’t suits the personality of a politician like Omar Abdullah, who has remained the Chief Minister of the State and was also a Minister in Atal Bihari Vajpayee led NDA Government during 1998 to 2004. Dr. Nirmal Singh termed it “totally unfortunate and insulting.”

Rajesh Gupta said that the reaction of Deputy Chief Minister gives boost to the party and people of Jammu feel satisfied and secure by the courage shown by our leaders in the Legislature and snubbed the opposition.

Meanwhile, Gupta also hailed the statement of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti that “Situation not conducive for revocation of Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA)”.

He strongly condemned the attitude of Omar Abdullah and added that Mehbooba Mufti has proved to be a better Chief Minister than the former.
