9 KAS among 17 reshuffled

JAMMU: In yet another round of reshuffling of the middle-rung administration, the state government on Friday affected transfers and postings of 17 officers, including 9 KAS officers.
The KAS officers which were shifted included Hamida Akhter, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Srinagar (East), who was transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Bandipora, vice Masarat Hashim, who in turn was transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Srinagar, against an available vacancy; Ghulam Rasool Wani, Collector, Lakes and Waterways Development Authority, Srinagar, transferred and posted as Deputy Director, District Employment and Counselling Centre, Srinagar, against an available vacancy while Sumira Shamim, Secretary, Lakes and Waterways Development Authority, Srinagar, has been directed to hold the charge of the post of Collector, in addition to her own duties, till further orders.
Masood Ahmad Qazi, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Chatroo, was transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Pulwama, vice Nissar Ahmad Malik, who in-turn was transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Ganderbal, vice Bashir Ahmad Bhat, who in-turn was transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Baramulla, against an available vacancy;
The other KAS officers included Jahangir Hashmi, Additional Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department (Infrastructure, Administrative Reforms and Grievances), who was transferred and posted as Officer on Special Duty in the personal section of Hon'ble Minister for Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation & Reconstruction and Floriculture; Gopal Singh, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Koteranka, transferred and posted as Sub Divisional Magistrate, Akhnoor, vice Sunaina Sharma and Ravinder Sharma, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Vijaypur, who was transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Chowki-Chowra, vice Jasmeet Singh.
The other officers who were shifted on Friday included Sanjeev Kumar, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Marwah, who was transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Vijaypur, vice Ravinder Sharma; Sunaina Sharma, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Akhnoor, transferred and posted as Secretary, Jammu Municipal Corporation; Jasmeet Singh, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Chowki-Chowra, transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner (Nazool), Jammu, against available vacancy, while Rakesh Gupta, Deputy Secretary in the J&K Public Service Commission, and Vinay Kumar Samotra, Secretary, Jammu Development Authority, were directed to swap their postings.
The state government also reshuffled Firdous Hussain, Under Secretary to the Government, Science & Technology Department and Ishtaq Ahmad Bhat, Under Secretary in the J&K Public Service Commission, who were asked to swap their present places of postings, with immediate effect, while Rafiq Ahmad Lone, CDPO, Gurez, was transferred and posted as Project Manager, Integrated Water-shed Management Programme, Bandipora, against an available vacancy, and was asked to hold the charge of the post of Deputy District Election Officer, Bandipora, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
