Guj polls: Over 45 pc turnout in six hours, Rupani, Patel cast vote

Ahmedabad, Dec 9: An estimated 45 per cent voter turnout was recorded in the first six hours on
Saturday in the first phase of polling to 89 seats in Gujarat Assembly elections.
As the day progressed, the pace of voting picked up even as in number of pockets Opposition Congress leaders and others protested snags in EVM machines.
