Three JeM terrorists arrested

SRINAGAR: Ending the week on another high note, the security forces on Sunday arrested three more terrorists in Budgam district of Central Kashmir.
The arrested terrorists belong to Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) outfit, police said.
With the late Sunday evening’s arrest, as many as six terrorists have been arrested by forces in past 4 days, besides a surrender of college student and footballer Majid Arshid on Friday.
Giving details of the incident, police officials said, that acting on a specific input about the movement of militants in Budgam Town, a joint Naka (checkpoint) was established by Budgam police, 53 RR and 43 Bn CRPF at Chadoora-Budgam road.
During the Naka checking, a suspicious vehicle was spotted and when security forces signaled it to stop, one of the militant tried to lob grenade but the alert Security personnel acted swiftly and apprehended him along with two other militants.
They were identified as Mohd Maqbol Malla and Gowher Ahmad both from Bandzoo and Azad Ahmad Lone from Lelhar, Kakapora of Pulwama district.
One pistol, one SLR and three hand grenades were seized from their possession.
