Honour killing: Man strangulates daughter to death, informs police

Noida, Nov 19: A man killed his 17-year-old daughter in Sadarpur Colony, falling under Sector 45 of Gautam Budh Nagar district here, for falling in love with a boy of another caste.
According to City Police Superintendent Aakash Tomar, the deceased was identified as Soni, Class 12 student of Moolchand School.
Enraged over her affair with a youth of another caste, accused Vijender on Saturday strangulated his daughter to death.
The accused then rang up the police and informed them about the crime.
Police arrested the accused and sent the body for post-mortem.
Mr Tomar said they have registered a case against the accused and started investigation.
