DG Army Air Defence reviews op preparedness

JAMMU: Director General of Corps of Army Air Defence Lieutenant General A K Sahgal on Wednesday visited the military garrison in Udhampur district and reviewed its operational preparedness.
Lt Gen. Sahgal also addressed the troops and informed them of the latest procurement being undertaken to enhance the operational effectiveness of the units of air defence, the Army said.
Public Relations Officer (Defence), Udhampur, Colonel N N Joshi said Lt Gen. Sahgal was briefed on the Army's operational preparedness, security measures and welfare issues by senior military commanders.
Lt Gen. Sahgal also informed the troops about the initiatives undertaken for their welfare.
