G.D. Goenka Public School, Jammu celebrates “Diwali” at their school premises.

One of the most vibrant and auspicious festivals Diwali is just around the corner and one can already feel the burst of euphoria amongst the people.

Similar burst of excitement was exhibited by the Goenkans on the occasion of Diwali celebration. Students’ enthusiasm did not succumb to the early morning cool and chilly breeze.

G.D. Goenka Public School, Jammu governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust organized a special assembly on the eve of Diwali - The festival of lights. Students participated in various competitions like Rangoli making and class decoration.

The quadrangle, where the cultural extravagance was held, came to life with festivities that captured the essence of Diwali.

Every class displayed their talent and came with a lot of innovative ideas which were visible in the designs made by them. Various designs of different pattern were displayed. The Vice Principal of the school, Mrs. Aparna Verma wished the staff members and the students a very happy and a safe Diwali. She imparted the message of victory over evil.

The Principal of the school, Mr. Rajesh Rathore appealed all to enjoy an eco- friendly Diwali, as it is pertinent to take care of our Mother Earth.
