02 die, 10 injured in road accidents

Two persons died while ten others were injured in different road accidents across the valley.
In Srinagar, an accident took place between two motorcycles at Galibabad Shalteng in the jurisdiction of Police Station Parimpora, resulting in on spot death of motorcyclist namely Bilal Ahmad Jogi son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Lali Masjid Saraf Kadal and injuries to another motorcyclist namely Saqib Ahmad Wani son of Abdul Rashid resident of Maloora Parimpora. After completion of medico legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites. The injured was shifted to JVC hospital for treatment. A case FIR number 217/2017 under section 304 A, 279, 337 RPC was registered and investigation was taken up.
In Pulwama, a Sumo bearing registration number JK13A-3725 driven by Bashir Ahmad Wani resident of Kangan Pulwama hit and injured a minor boy namely Ayan Mudasir son of Mudasir Ahmad Wani resident of Babagund at Babagund. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Pulwama for treatment, where he was declared brought dead. After completion of medico legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his parents for last rites. Pulwama police has registered a case in this regard and investigation was taken up.
In Budgam, a vehicle bearing registration number DL3CAQ-8560 driven by Iram Sadiqi resident of Kulipora Srinagar collided with a motorcycle ridden by Abid Haroon resident of Wazbugh Hyderpora near Al-Farooq Masjid Peerbagh in the jurisdiction of Police Station Budgam, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist and pillion rider namely Tabish Fareed resident of Anantnag at present Wazbugh. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Budgam police has registered a case in this regard.
In Kupwara, a Sumo bearing registration number JK09-7735 driven by Bashir Ahmad Bhat resident of Thondosa Lolab collided with a scooty at Bedipora Lolab in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sogam, resulting in injuries to 05 persons. All the injured shifted to Sub District Hospital Sogam for treatment, where from they were shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for further treatment. Kupwara police has registered a case in this regard.
In Sopore, two motorcycles bearing registration numbers JK05C-8758 and JK05A-5033 collided at Botengoo, resulting in injuries to 03 persons. All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore for treatment. Sopore police has registered a case in this regard.
