Prime Minister Narendra Modi today traversed down the momentous three-year journey of 'Mann ki Baat', saying through the monthly radio programme his government has ''become more sensitive to people's problems''. Addressing the nation in the 36th edition of 'Mann ki Baat’ which completed three years, the PM went down memory lane and talked about how the medium has connected him to every citizen from every corner of the country.

"This Mann ki Baat has not been my thoughts alone. It ensured that common people in overwhelming numbers could share their views about the country and nation building. I wanted to keep people as focus of Mann ki Baat. I tried to keep it apolitical," he told listeners of the broadcast which is carried on All India Radio and Doordarshan. ''It has also helped to connect with the entire country,'' he said, adding that people have made use of the platform to share their views about the country and give feedback. Asserting that it was not Modi's Mann ki Baat, he said people through emails, twitter etc had become the Mann ki Baat of the 130 crore people. In the 30-minute long address, Mr Modi focussed on Swacch Bharat Campaigns, promoting use of Khadi. Mr Modi focussed on Bilal Dar, a young boy from Kashmir, who has been made brand ambassador for cleanliness by Srinagar Municipal Corporation.

For his dedicated efforts to clean up Dal Lake of plastic and muck, he had now been given a vehicle and uniform. Talking about the vast possibilities of tourism in ''Incredible India'', the Prime Minister urged people to visit and see the vast vistas of India and identify seven potential spots in their states, regions and districts which could be transformed. The Prime Minister asked people to send their suggestions to the government which would be scrutinised for further action to boost tourism.
