CRPF cdr thrashed as trooper dies

SRINAGAR: A day after alleged beating of seven Jammu and Kashmir police cops by army personnel in Ganderbal district, a Company Commander of CRPF was thrashed by angry troopers when one of their colleagues died after he was denied permission for medical treatment.
“Angry CRPF troopers thrashed their company commander after a trooper died after being denied medical treatment,” police sources said.
They said the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper died in Wanpoh area of Anantnag district.
"Angry colleagues of the deceased trooper trashed their company commander, alleging that the sick trooper had been denied permission by the officer to visit a nearby hospital for treatment," a police officer said.
There was no confirmation or denial of the incident from the CRPF.
