ABAC stages protest in front of DC office, demand immediate completion of Androlla bridge.

Rajouri, July 23: Senior Congress leader and Ex.MLA, Kalakote Mr.Ashok Sharma,Coordinator, AICC Vichar Vibhag led a strong protest delegation infront of DC Office for the construction and completion of Androlla bridge which was organised by Androlla Bridge Action Committee (ABAC).The committee demanded for earlier completion of the said bridge which was washed away in floods three years back and have been facing many problems particularly in the rainy season when we can not go anywhere and ultimately got stuck in one place.The members putforth their demands in front of DC, like temporary boat facility to cross the river till further development.
"Areas like Sailsui,Chakli,Dhangri,Potha, Saranoo have been badly effected due to such apathy and lethargy of the government and we didn't get any fruitful result despite of giving false assurances everytime.We warn the administration to start a big agitation if the work would not start in 10 days",alleged Mr.Sajad Mirza.
While addressing the members of the committee, Mr.Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, DDC, Rajouri assured to start the construction of bridge shortly and also on their demand would organize boats for crossing the river till the construction work is completed."Work would be started within a week and hopeful it would be completed in time",added Mr.Choudhary.
Among others who attended the protest included Sajad Mirza, Kashmir Singh, Mohd Bashir,Vivak Sharma,Vijay Kumar, Amit Sayal, Suraj Prekash, Ashwani Sharma, Ashok Kumar, Gotam, Dharm Singh, Krishna Devi, Kaushalya Devi and Balkrishan Sharma.
