Omar comes in defence of father

Jammu: The National Conference Working President and former Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has come in defence of his father, Dr Farooq Abdullah over his "third party" statement. The junior Abdullah said that people reacting to or condemning on his father's "third party" statement failed to understand Dr Farooq's intention. He said by seeking a third party's intervention in resolving the K-issue, his father wanted "facilitation" and not the "mediation" of United State or China. "His statement has been misunderstood as some people are giving it a different spin," Omar said.
