Sajad Lone pays obeisance at Darbar –e-Aalia Younusia

KUPWARA, JULY 20: Minister for Social Welfare, ARI & Trainings and Science & Technology, Sajad Gani Lone today attended the 125th Urs-e-Mubarak at Darbar –e-Aalia Younusia at Awoora Kupwara and prayed for peace and prosperity in the state.
MLA Kupwara Bashir Ahmad Dar also accompanied the Minister and paid obeisance at the Darbar.
The Minister interacted with visitors and said that "following in the footsteps of Sufis and saints, we should also spread a message of peace, amity and compassion".
During three day congregation, religious scholars threw light on multidimensional and multifaceted Islamic teachings.
The scholars also emphasized the importance of spirituality in present day world and discussed the issues related to erosion of moral and ethical values and chaos and disorder prevalent in the society.
