On a short notice, Dy CM heads to Delhi to apprise PM of security scenario in J&K

Jammu: On a short notice from the Prime Minister Office (PMO), Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh would be heading to Delhi on Thursday to meet the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and apprise him about the present security scenario in Kashmir Valley as well as the tension along the Line of Control (LoC).
However, Dr Nirmal Singh himself disclosed this during a programme here at Abhinav Theatre that on Thursday, he would be heading towards Delhi to meet the PM but sources said the meeting was not scheduled.
"On a short notice, the Dy CM has been asked to reach Delhi and apprise the Prime Minister about the developments in Kashmir Valley and LoC," sources said.
Earlier, after the terror attack on Amarnath Yatries in South Kashmir, MoS PMO, Dr Jitendra Singha also visited Srinagar and submitted a report to PM on security situation and the incident in particular "but this meeting between PM and Deputy CM is believed be more important, as Dr Singh has to elaborate about entire situation of the state to PM Modi."
"On Wednesday, Deputy CM also met with the RSS Chief Dr Mohan Rao Bhagwat at lunch and now he will be leaving for Delhi on Thursday morning to meet the PM at 1pm," sources said.
If sources are to be believed, after the meeting with Prime Minister, the Deputy Chief Minister would also meet Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh and Defence Minister Arun Jaitley to discuss the security scenario in Jammu and Kashmir.
In the evening, sources said Dr Singh would also meet Union Minister for Road, Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari to brief the later the details of tragic road accident in Ramban district that claimed lives of 17 yatris.
Dr Singh is expected to reach Jammu and Kashmir back on Friday as he would stay at New Delhi on Thursday.
