Jammu’s Boy all set to represent India at Mr. Asia 2017 pageant

Rehaan Raas Dev, a model from Jammu, is set to represent India in Mongolia later this month for the Mr. Asia 2017 pageant.

It will be held between May 18-21.

"I'm honoured to represent our country on such a prestigious platform. Such kind of body building championships can be taxing, but I have faith and a positive energy around me," he said in a statement.

Rehaan is also the winner of Mr India Men's Physique 2017 contest organised by the Indian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Talking about fitness, Rehaan said: "I strongly believe that fitness comes from within. One certainly needs discipline and dedication, but all that begins with control over your mind. If you train your mind, your body will listen to it."

Before the contest, he had a successful career in finance. He's a qualified chartered accountant. He had significant global experience and worked as a head of finance at an international investment firm.

Born in Jammu, Rehaan had represented Maharashtra in order to compete for the title of Mr. India. He also won National Gold in height category decoding his stunning talent to become an “Overall Champion across Men’s Physique’s categories.

Like various other actors, the J&K boy had his dream carved in his heart to become an Actor. Before he flew down to Mumbai to become an Actor, Rehaan had a well-established career while working in an Investment Fund and Financial Services firms as Head and Sr. Financial Analyst, respectively. He was also qualified as Chartered Accountant and had continued his studies with CFA Institute in USA.

Nevertheless, his love for acting and bodybuilding could not let him sustain with former career for long and entered Mumbai city with aim to get trained as an Actor.

. India Men’s Physique title Winner, Rehaan is now all set to participate in Mr. Asia contest scheduled to happen on May 18-21, 2017 in Mongolia. For the model from J&K, wearing a Tri-Coloured flag on the grand stage of Mr. Asia pageant is a great honour for representing the nation internationally.

Men’s Physique is a contest for Fitness Modelling that runs every year and hunts for Aesthetic bodies that are lean, muscular and symmetrical. Athletes with such Bodies are judged on the basis of aesthetics of their bodies, stage presentation & performance and, their overall personality.

Mr. India Men’s Fitness 2017 was the 57th Mr. and Ms. India Bodybuilding and Fitness contest organized by IBBFF at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
