MLA Bhaderwah calls on Chief Minister

Seeks compensation for Batyas fire victims

JAMMU, APRIL 28: MLA, Bhaderwah, Daleep Singh Parihar today called on the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here today.
Mr. Parihar demanded adequate compensation for the fire victims of Malikpora, Batyas of Gandoh area. He also demanded availability of timber and soft loans to the fire sufferers so that they can rebuild their structures afresh.
The MLA also demanded setting up of a Fire station in the area.
The Chief Minister assured Mr. Parihar that the demands put forth would be immediately looked into.
It may be recalled that 25 houses and 52 commercial establishments were gutted in the area in a recent fire incident.
