MHAC School Nagbani celebrated Earth Day
Jammu, Apr 24: Around 100 cadets from NCC (Armed & Navy) celebrated Earth Day by the cleanliness & Plant Care drive.
NCC cadets selected almost 3 acre area near Nag Mandir close to MHAC Nagbani School. First of all the entire area was cleaned by picking up the polythene bags, waste papers, wrappers all spread during a Nag mandir fair held few days back.
In the plant care Drive the students dug the soil around trees to aerate the mother earth & then watered the plants
All cadets participated enthusiastically into this hands on literacy of Environment & climate.
Principal Mrs Sween Puri applauded the efforts of Mr Rohit Sharma (1st officer) & Mr Ajay Bharti Sharma (2nd officer) on the occasion of Earth Day 2017.
