3 Players of J&K shortlisted for IPL auction

JAMMU: The 10th edition of Indian Premier League could be a platform for cricketers of Jammu and Kashmir as three of them are being selected to be a part of the auction for the tournament going to take place on 20th of this month.

The list includes three ace cricketers of Jammu Kashmir Parvez Rasool, Ian Dev Singh and Umer Nazir.

As many as 351 cricketers are set to go under the hammer during the 2017 Indian Premier League (IPL) Players’ Auction and these three cricketers of Jammu and Kashmir has high hopes from the event.

Although Parvez Rasool and Ian Dev Singh has already been a part of the IPL, it is for the first time Umar Nazir has been selected for the tournament.

The full list of players short-listed for the auctions has been released.

It includes 130 capped players, 219 uncapped players and two from Associate Nations.

Out of these, 230 are Indians and 121 foreigners. The list was trimmed down from the original list of 714 cricketers who had given their names for the IPL auctions.
