MV International School girls bagged 1stand 2ndpositions in Samba District Symposium.

Jammu, Jan 20: KanikaChadgal and Tanya Sharma of class 10th of MV International School won First and Second Prizes in the symposium on the topic “Road Safety”. These students were in junior category in which students of class 9th and 10th were included. The competition was organized by Motor Vehicles Department Samba in the conference hall of DC office Samba as the District Level programme under 28th Road Safety week that concluded on 14th January, 2016. Deputy Commissioner Samba MsSheetal Nanda was the Chief Guest on the occasion while SSP Samba, MrJoginder Singh and ADDC Samba, Mr. Vivek Sharma were the Guest of Honour. Senior officers of District Administration were also present on the occasion. Total 70 students participated from all the schools and colleges of District Samba. They shared their views on “Road Safety”. It was an initiative taken by the Motor Vehicles Department to educate and spread awareness about Road Safety among students. Students of MV International School also shared their views and learning gained from symposium with other students of the school. Chairman of school ShHiraLalAbrol lauded the efforts of the students and encouraged them to participate actively in such events.
