Army conducts medical check-up for locals at Balakote in Poonch district

Poonch: Army conducted a medical check-up for locals at Balakote in Poonch district, today. The Medical Officer from the local Army unit conducted the medical check-up and gave them primary treatment. The medical checkup was to provide medical services to the people of nearby villages where medical infrastructure is inadequate and medicines hard to procure. Apart from free medical advice, medicines free of cost were also provided to the people from Poonch adjoining areas.
The medical checkup generated a lot of enthusiasm amongst the locals and the same was apparent from the overwhelming number of persons who attended it. The relentless efforts of the Army have been widely appreciated by the locals and has built stronger bond between them.
