SDM reviews R-Day, National Voters Day arrangements at Bhadarwah

Bhadarwah, Jan 10: To finalise the arrangements for the celebration of upcoming Republic Day 2017 and National Voters Day, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Bhadarwah, Mohammad Anwar Banday along with Tehsildar Bhadarwah Masood Ahmed convened a review meeting of officers of all departments here on Tuesday.
The meeting was held at Dak Banglow Bhadarwah.
During the course of discussion regarding Republic Day, It was decided in the meeting that VIP will unfurl the National Flag and take salute at the march past prade contingents, to be drawn from JKAP, NCC and small platoons from Government and Private Schools. Cultural programmes by the students of various schools will be organised in Premises of Govt Higher Secondary School Bhadarwah.
"It was finalised in the meeting that the venue of the function will be Sports Ground of Government Higher Secondary School in case of fair weather and Tehsil Revenue Complex in case of bad weather," said SDM Bhadarwah Mohd Anwar Banday.
The day will start with playing of Shenai Wadan by Information Department Bhadarwah early in the morning.
On the occasion, the arrangements in regard of General supervision, Security, First Aid , Sanitation, Sitting arrangement , cultural programme by the Students, Power Supply, Maintenance of Law and Order among others were also discussed and necessary instructions were passed to all the concerned officers and officials.
It was also decided that full dress rehearsal of the Republic Day will be held on January 24.
On the occasion officers and officials of all Departments were present.
Later, to review the arrangements for celebration of National Voters Day which would be observed on January 25, SDM Bhadarwah Mohd Anwar Banday who is also Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) chaired a meeting at Dak Banglow Bhadarwah.
The meeting was attended by all concerned officers and officials of Bhadarwah.
While reviewing the arrangements, SDM Bhadarwah impressed upon all the officers to make necessary arrangements for the celebration of national event to achieve the objective of the National Voter’s Day.
The theme of the National Voter’s Day is “Inclusive and Qualitative Electoral participation” in the electoral rolls by the electors.
He stressed upon the officers to put in their synchronized efforts so that all the necessary arrangements are made well in time for smooth celebration of National Voters Day.
