Arrangements for celebration of National Voters’ day discussed

Udhampur, Jan 10: The Deputy District Election Officer, Sapna Kotwal today convened a meeting with all the EROs and AEROs of the district to discuss arrangements for the celebration of the 7th National Voters Day on 25th January.
During the meeting, the DyDEO asked all the Tehsildars to organize programmes like Debates, Painting and Quiz competitions on the occasion. She also informed that this year the day will be observed under the theme ‘Empowering Young and Future Voters’. Awareness rallies shall also be held at both the tehsil and district levels for encouraging the future voters and creating awareness about the importance of vote among the marginalized masses, she added. Besides this, she said that necessary training shall also be imparted to the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) by the EROs and AEROs
All the EROs and AEROs of the district attended the meeting.
