Petrol, diesel prices remain stable

New Delhi, Jun 13: Petrol and diesel prices remained stable at record levels on Sunday after rising consecutively for two days.

According to Indian Oil Corporation, petrol remained unchanged at Rs 96.12 and diesel at Rs 86.98 per liter in Delhi.

During the month of May, in Delhi, petrol became costlier by Rs 3.83 and diesel by Rs 4.42 per liter. So far in June, the price of petrol has increased by Rs 1.89 and that of diesel by Rs 1.83.

There was no change in the prices of petrol and diesel in other cities as well. In Mumbai, the price of petrol stood at Rs 102.30 and that of diesel at Rs 94.39 per liter.

In Chennai, petrol was sold at Rs 97.43 and diesel at Rs 91.64 per liter. In Kolkata, a liter of petrol was sold for Rs 96.06 and diesel for Rs 89.83.
