Jammu, Sep 27: An Art week was celebrated at G.D Goenka Public School, Jammu governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust from Sept. 21 to Sep 27, 2016.

The tiny tots enjoyed capturing their imagination to illustrate their dreams, followed by paper mache, sculptures, and pottery.

The kindergarten students had great fun experimenting with colours by throwing water on art sheets, thus creating a group Art Work.

The youngest students of Pre-Nursery enjoyed making handprint rainbows, alongside with vegetable printing and creating work using popcorn.

Every student and teacher of Kindergarten Section was involved throughout the week and it provided a great opportunity to learn about Art and Creativity.

The Art week was organised by the Kindergarten Section of the school under the supervision of the Headmistress Ms. Sonika Mahajan and Co-ordinator Ms. Sunna Syal and Bethany Ballantyne a visiting teacher from England who is in India for 6 months.

All the students enjoyed being with Bethany Ballantyne as she really motivated our students and brought out their talent and creativity.

The Principal of the school Mr. Rajesh Rathore was extremely impressed with the pre-primary section of the school and wished to see more of such creative activities occurring frequently in the school premises.
