St. Mary's Infant Pre School organizes Story Recitation Competition

Jammu, Sep 21: In order to further embolden the oratorical skills of its eloquent scholars, St. Mary's Infant Pre School (SMIPS) organized a Story Recitation Competition wherein lilliputians reveled in the joy of words and narrated stories with such beauty of expressions that led to evocative rendering and transported the audience to the realm of fancy concocted by the mesmerizing words of the tiny tots.

UKG, LKG and Nursery students gave commendable performances in front of the august gathering comprising of the Chairperson of the school, Mrs. Anna Mary, as well as the staff and management of school. The competition was judged by Mrs. Sonia and Mrs. Tarjit Kour, who are the proud parents of the students studying at SMIPS. Young rhetoricians of SMIPS recited stories gleefully; keeping in mind the mood, parlance and intonation; which vivified the mood of one and all.

The spirited performances were followed by award presentation ceremony wherein the Chairperson, Mrs. Anna Mary along with the judges felicitated the silver-tongued rhetors for their incredibly lucid performances.

In UKG section, Adrian Raj Anthony was adjudged the winner while Arvind Angurana stood second and Arya Vansh Singh secured the third place whereas in LKG section Siftpreet Kour, Aadhira Sharma and Manat Choudhary bagged first, second and third position respectively. In the nursery section, the first position was declared a tie between Asad and Tanvi Mehra while the second position was shared by Hridya and Vedant Mahajan and so was the third place between Rajveer Singh and Mankaran Singh.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chairperson, Mrs. Anna Mary lauded the efficacious performances of the tiny tots and appreciated the constant endeavours of the staff members in organizing a legion of activities to ensure holistic growth and development of students.

The principal, Mrs. Sheetal Anthony, said that the main aim of this competition was to unearth the hidden talent of the little stars of kindergarten and to hone their narrative skills. She expressed gratitude towards the parents for their benign support in preparing kids for such admirable performances that lulled the hearts of all.
