Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday constituted Special Task Force (STF) to check the menace of illegal extraction of sand and other minor minerals from the bank of River Tawi and its tributaries.
The STF headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner , Jammu comprises of three members. The members included Superintended of Police, Assistant conservator of forest and district mineral officer.
