#Covid19 || 532 fresh cases, tally close to 92K, eight more deaths

Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir recorded 8 more deaths due to COVID-19, pushing the total number of fatalities due to the deadly virus to 1,438, while the Union Territory recorded 532 positive cases on Sunday, taking the overall tally of infections to 91861.
Of the latest 8 fatalities, three deaths were reported in Jammu and 5 from Valley. With fresh three deaths in Jammu region, the death toll has reached to 478 while the death toll in Kashmir region has reached to 960 with fresh five fatlities.
The COVID-19 tally reaches to 91861 in Jammu and Kashmir with 532 fresh cases. Among fresh cases 32 were travelers and 500 others .
Among the cases, 177 were reported from Jammu region and 355 from Kashmir Valley.
As per district-wise details, Jammu reported 113, Rajouri 6, Udhampur 5, Doda 5, Kathua 6, Poonch 16, Samba 8, Ramban 5, Kishtwar 12 and Reasi 1 while in Kashmir region district Srinagar reported 124 cases, Budgam 26, Baramulla 80, Pulwama 19, Kupwara 36, Anantnag 14, Bandipora 19, Ganderbal 7, Kulgam 5, Shopian 25.
According to media bulletin, 639 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 263 from Jammu Division and 376 from Kashmir Division
"Out of 91861 positive cases, 7565 are Active Positive, 82858 have recovered and 1438 have died; 478 in Jammu division and 960 in Kashmir division," reads the bulletin.
The Bulletin further said that out of 2175682 test results available, 2083821 samples have been tested as negative till October 25, 2020.
Till date 641369 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 18154 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 7565 in isolation and 47328 in home surveillance. Besides, 566884 persons have completed their surveillance period.
