J&K FSL now independent organisation

JAMMU: The Union Territory administration on Monday ordered that Jammu and Kashmir Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) will now work as an independent orgnisation, under the direct administrative control of the Home Department.
“In order to ensure operational independence of the Jammu and Kashmir Forensic Science Laboratory (J&K FSL), it is hereby ordered that the J&K, FSL shall henceforth be an independent organization, under the direct administrative control of the Home Department,” said an order issued by Principal Secretary, Home, Shaleen Kabra.
